Students and teachers want to investigate the effects of global warming.

The biology department and the students of the Limmattal Cantonal School built the greenhouses in a collective effort on Wednesday, 10th April. The project is coordinated and led by biology teacher Ingrid Wenk Siefert and Paul Muller, teacher of economics and law. Together with their classes, they will accompany the experiment and follow its progress. The data from the two greenhouses which have different temperatures and irrigation schemes, will be evaluated in the course of the experiment. “With this project, we can illustrate the effects of global warming – we don’t just see numbers as usual,” says 17-year-old student Nina Barandun.
